Challenge:
Home Depot planned to build a store next to a well-established residential neighborhood. The people there would undoubtedly have concerns about the project, potentially leading to delays in the governmental review process.
Execution:
The Lynne Broydrick Group held a series of neighborhood meetings to allow everybody to openly air their questions and thoughts. As a result of this input, Home Depot made changes to its project to address the neighbors' concerns.
Result:
Only one person spoke at a public hearing about the project, and he praised Home Depot for its outreach to the neighbors. The store opened right on schedule.
