Lynne Broydrick

Lynne Broydrick is the founder of the Lynne Broydrick Group, an innovative lobbying firm that shapes public opinion, influences decision makers and creates the winning edge to ensure that a project can move forward. She understands the structure of government and how local politics works. Lynne has had unparalleled success achieving positive results for her clients.

A Massachusetts native, Lynne has followed her interest in public relations to various regions of the country. She has led grassroots efforts in projects across many economic sectors: retail, commercial, health care, utility and residential. Her philosophy is: listen to everyone, involve everyone and assure all stakeholders that their concerns and ideas are taken into consideration. She understands that each project requires a unique approach.

Lynne is a hands-on leader who designs and implements each grassroots effort, from door-to-door campaigning to directing high-level strategic meetings. She sets the bar high and provides a powerful role model for her team to emulate. Lynne is known in the business community for her graciousness, her generosity and her strong work ethic.

Prior to launching her lobbying practice in 1990, she worked for Toshiba America as Regional Manager responsible for training in the Midwest. She began her career in 1977 going door to door with a community based organization in Milwaukee, and honed her organizational skills overseeing the Sixth and Eighth Congressional districts in a Wisconsin gubernatorial campaign.

Lynne holds a B.S. degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology, from Rosemont College in Pennsylvania.

 

 


Renee Bowerman

Renee Bowerman has an extensive background in project management of retail, office and multifamily developments, and intricate knowledge of the regulatory and permitting processes associated with them.

Prior to joining the Lynne Broydrick Group in 2004, she worked eight years at Continental Properties Co. as a Vice-President and Development Director, overseeing multimillion-dollar projects in several states. She has extensive experience with issues involving annexation, rezoning, site plan approvals and environmental and development permitting. She assists clients with “due diligence” matters such as surveys, geotechnical reports, environmental investigations, wetland delineations and traffic impact analyses. Her background also includes work in civil engineering and infrastructure and architectural design.

Renee earlier worked as a project manager for Payne & Dolan, the well-known asphalt paving company. She holds an M.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, also from UW-Madison.



Anna Mareno

Anna Mareno is well known to the many members of the St. Luke’s Heart Healthy clubs for her bright cheer and ready smile. Anna has been instrumental in the operation of the clubs, a public service of Aurora Health Care, since their formation in fall 2003. She has been also involved in several door-to-door information campaigns for utility and development projects since joining the Lynne Broydrick Group in 2002.

A native of Canada, Anna has more than a dozen years of hands-on business management experience in automobile and retail sales. She worked as general manager with Lake Shore Auto Brokers of Mequon and later Oconomowoc, and as executive manager with Gimbels Corp. in Milwaukee. She holds an M.A. in Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario.



Rick Moon

Rick Moon’s professional background encompasses extensive work in public relations, marketing, writing, journalism, advertising, research, community outreach and creative applications. A Milwaukee native, he worked eight years as a reporter for several Wisconsin newspapers, covering a wide range of political, governmental, environmental and business issues.

Rick’s “inside media” experience gained him invaluable insight to counsel clients about effective media relations. His writing talents lend themselves to helping clients with marketing materials, press releases, web site copy and speeches.

Prior to joining the Broydrick team in 2001, Rick worked six years with Foley & Lardner, one of the nation’s largest law firms, handling a broad array of internal and external communications and marketing activities. He holds B.A. degrees in Journalism and Political Science from Carroll College, where he was a National Merit Scholar.



Linda Olsheska

Linda Olsheska began her career in communications at Penn State University, where she was lucky enough to be chosen to study abroad with the BBC. Following a time in England, she found work editing television news footage and then moved on to create talk radio programs in California and Pennsylvania.

Working in the media led to opportunities in government. Linda served as chief staff assistant to a newly elected County Supervisor for Santa Barbara County, Calif., and later worked on a successful campaign for the first woman elected to the Santa County Board of Supervisors.

Linda has been very active in educational issues in Wisconsin and was instrumental in the passage of a referendum to create a new middle school in her village. Linda’s affable personality makes her at home talking with an elected official or an average homeowner …she finds them equally compelling.



Steve Perrigo

Steve Perrigo brings an extensive background in executive-level management experience to the Broydrick team. Since joining the Lynne Broydrick Group in 1999, Steve has successfully developed and managed projects focused on the approval process at all levels of local government, as well as successful community and grassroots outreach programs. Because of his experience with both large and small businesses and nonprofit organizations, Steve is known for developing effective, customized strategies to meet each client's needs. His experience has benefited clients in the utility, healthcare, transportation, sports, and national and local retail industries.

Prior to joining the Broydrick team, Steve had senior management experience in medical administration with the Medical College of Wisconsin and with a large private Milwaukee clinic. He has also had management and legislative experience with the Illinois Departments of Local Government Affairs and Registration and Education.

Steve is active in leadership roles in several community organizations including serving on the Board of Directors and as Past President of the Franklin Education Foundation and is currently president of the South Suburban Chamber of Commerce for Oak Creek and Franklin. 

Steve earned a B.S. degree in Political Science and History from Bradley University , and holds a Master's of Public Administration degree from the University of Illinois in Springfield.

 

 



Bob Reddin

Bob Reddin likes to joke that he is a “recovering reporter,” having joined the Broydrick team in 2000 after a 12-year career in radio news.

A Milwaukee native, Bob graduated from Marquette University in 1988 with a B.A. degree in broadcast communication, and took his first job as news director at KQKD radio in Aberdeen, S.D. He returned to Wisconsin to work as news director at WKTS radio in Sheboygan. He joined the air staff at WTMJ in Milwaukee in 1990, where he earned several local, state and regional awards.

Since joining the Broydrick team in December 2000, Bob has coordinated several community outreach campaigns involving long-range grassroots efforts, establishing relationships with many local officials and opinion leaders in the process. He consults with clients on issues that frequently require contact with the media, and is an in-house expert on “smart growth” planning.

An alderman in the City of Brookfield, Bob is currently serving a 4-year term on the Brookfield Common Council.



Heather Retberg

Heather Retberg assists clients with the coordination and planning of community outreach projects. She provides expertise in public and media relations, special events coordination, advertising and materials creation.

Heather has worked with clients throughout Wisconsin and the greater Milwaukee area to develop and successfully complete neighborhood, community and regional communications and organizational programs. She has worked for clients on community and business educational and training programs directed toward employees, government officials, and the public to achieve a wide variety of marketing, management and customer satisfaction objectives.

Heather joined the Broydrick team in 2001 after graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran College with a B.A. degree in communication arts with an emphasis in public relations.
